Since their 2017 formation, Sydney’s Floral Sheets have been engaged in a long process of experimentation, turning a nebulous assortment of influences into one cohesive, idiosyncratic sound. Casting swooning, textural melodies over a dynamic, at-times aggressive backdrop, the band draws as much from shoegaze and dream-pop touchstones as they do punk and hardcore.
